Florida
It has never been a better time to invest in the Florida real estate. Experts are predicting that Florida is seeing the light now, after 2 years of devastating real estate markets. The dollar is slowly strengthening against the pound, but there is nothing to worry about yet.
The astute investor is now bagging a bargain and snapping up short sales and foreclosures. The tourism market is growing year on year, with over 60,000,000 visitors to Florida.
A couple of years ago you would be hard pressed to find a bargain in the Orlando real estate, but today you can find a 3 bedroom detached pool home for £80,000. The properties also rent well, you have to be realistic with your prices, what you are looking at is to cover costs and capture the capital growth of Florida, this is what your investment is about.
More and more people are now looking at resort communities, like Aviana, that are close to Disney, but also offer full resort facilities. Americans are now realising that renting a home within a community is a cheaper option than renting a group of hotel rooms. This is why resort properties are better to rent.
Only 23% of Americans own a passport and actually only 10% leave the country, this is why Orlando will always grow year on year with tourism.
