ÖLÜDENIZ - BELCEKIZ
‘Blue Paradise’ is the world-famous name of the lagoon of Oludeniz and the beach of Belcekiz. Famed for its breathtaking beauty, Oludeniz has become one of Turkey’s most acclaimed resort. KALKAN
A peaceful resort and fishing town on the beautiful Turquoise Coast, Kalkan is largely untouched by mass tourism. Because of its undeniable charm, Kalkan attracts many visitors who come time and time again to this heavenly spot.

Kalkan clings to the coastline around an ancient harbour and overlooks a beautiful bay in which islands seem to float upon the shimmering sea. In the town , narrow streets twist down to the harbour and are lined with whitewashed villas displaying original ornately carved Ottoman timber balconies festooned with brightly coloured bougainvillea.

A sense history is important in Kalkan and the town has retained much of its distinctive Greek architecture. In addition, strict building codes keep the town small and ensure new building blends with the historic heart of the town known as ‘Old Kalkan’.

Gastronomes will be pleased to hear that fine dining has always been the way of life in Kalkan. In fact, it is said to have the highest number of restaurants and bars per inhabitant or square metre on the Turkish coast!

Quiet and sleepy by day as many people explore the many beautiful ancient Lycian sites and natural splendours of the area, at night Kalkan bursts in to life. You may well be enjoying yourself long enough to see the fishermen leave early in the morning for their daily catch!
